Cade was curled in a small ball against a large oak tree. His eyes followed from the roots to the thick trunk. His eyes then flowed from the thick branches to the large leaves hanging off the smaller twigs. His eyes locked on the gray sky, and he sighed. Cade was thinking he would reside here a little longer than expected. For once he felt...at ease, as if he didn't need to put up his guard. His body fully relaxed against the tree,as he allowed his chin to touch his knees. Cade then thought about the gray sky, and how it reminded him of the billowing smoke that used to pour from the fires of his caretaker.
Sadness poured into his being, but then was pushed to the back of his conscience. He had promised himself to stop thinking thoughts of his previous life. Cade then slid up the tree trunk to get into a standing position. He had figured that he would feed from animals for the time being. Cade needed to lie low until he could fully establish his being here. At that moment,the bushes rattled indicating the presence of an animal. Cade smirked as he tore into a dead sprint. He figured that he might as well get some exercise while he was out.
